Queen is an English rock band originally consisting of 4 members; Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor. The band officially formed in the early 1970s after May and Taylor's former band Smilesplit after having released an album and single. Freddie replaced Tim Staffellas vocalist, and John Deacon joined in February of 1971, playing bass for the band that Freddie renamed "Queen." Queen's first self titled album was released in 1973 and received little attention from the general public. They shortly followed it with a second album which still lacked much interest from music fans all over Britain. Despite this, the band began developing a huge following in Japan and witnessed their popularity for themselves when they visited the country; mainly in 1975 to promote their fourth and most famous album "A Night At The Opera," featuring the epic Bohemian Rhapsody.

April Lady Lyrics

Queen

Words and music by brian may and tim staffell
She won our hearts the arts she loved
Is painting pictures for free
When she was done she hung them up
For all the children to see
Goodbye april lady
Its been good to have you around
Goodbye april lady
Youve done a lot for the folks in this town
The children learned to read
She strung their beads
Its sorry she was the one
As you can see isnt she good
She dont leave nothing undone
Goodbye april lady
Its been good to have you around
Goodbye april lady
Youve done a lot for the folks in this town
She taught them all to love
She was their cream
And we dont want her to go
But we know too well
She fell in love
And theres no stopping her so
Goodbye april lady
Its been good to have you around
Goodbye april lady
Youve done a lot for the folks in this town
Goodbye april lady...
